This is a very well known Sherman design. The pinwheel brooch has 3 whorls consisting of 1 roundelle, 2 small marquise stones, 2 medium marquise stones and 2 navettes. There is AB finish on the outer stones of the roundelles and on the 2 small marquise stones. There is also 1 central roundelle with 3 arms with a red marquise stone on the end,  radiating out between the whorls.  The back is japanned and signed Sherman on a rectangular cartouche. There are a couple of small marquise with a bit of AB finish worn off. About 2 1/2" wide.  Earrings have 2 navettes, 3 chatons of varying size and one medium marquise.  There is AB finish on 2 of the chatons - 1" long and signed Sherman on the clip.
